Each year we produce a limited amount of this wine that has multiple missions; to taste AMAZING and to raise funds and awareness for the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. This year’s Menagerie boasts of a very smooth and drinkable blend of Washington grown Cabernet Franc, Merlot with a dash of Je ne sais quoi (that’s French for something indescribably amazing)! Enjoy this wine with your animal-loving friends and know that all of the profits are benefiting our four-legged friends in need!
If you love the Humane Society and dogs as much as we do, then plan to attend Harbinger Winery's 'Yappy Hour' on Saturday, September 20th from 5:30 - 7:30pm, where you'll find many adoptable pooches ready to greet you. Enjoy a glass of wine in the tasting room, hob-nob with canine friends, and register for Sunday's Dog Days 10K Run/Walk. A portion of the evening's 'Yappy Hour' proceeds go to benefit the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society!The registration fee for the Dog Days event is $35 and ALL of the proceeds benefit the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society!! Big Horn BBQ is going to light up the grill and show us their stuff so help us celebrate the summer sun with an evening of grilled delights paired with an array of newly released Harbinger wines. Here is the menu: wedge salad with Cesar dressing, grilled pork tenderloin, smoked chicken thighs, twice baked potatoes, and dessert fit for royalty. The all-inclusive cost for this evening of fun is $30/wine club members and $40/non-wine club members. Join us for a stroll down memory lane as we open up our wine library and sample some of the forgotten favorites from the days of yore and maybe even take home a bottle or two of something special. What’s the library you ask? We typically stash a few cases from most vintages to pull out at a later date and experience the changes that’ve taken place (aka: wine evolution) while the wine has been aging. Join us at Harbinger Winery in celebration of all things wet, wild, and seaworthy! Whether you've been hanging ten on your board for more years than you can count or just like long walks on the beach, this is an evening for everyone. There will be wood fired pizza, music, artwork, a killer raffle, and loads of libations. Tickets will be available at the door and the proceeds will benefit the Surfrider Foundation, which is instrumental in keeping our beaches and oceans clean for everyone to enjoy. It’s that time again; the 2nd quarter shipment is upon us! Stop by the tasting room on Friday, June 6th from 5-8pm and sample some of our newest releases. The celebration of the approaching summer wouldn’t be proper without these purposefully selected wines; the off-dry Riesling to remind us of warm days, crisp spring nights and halibut season, the 2011 Malbec with its abundance of tasty stone fruit to celebrate the arrival of peaches, nectarines and apricots from the orchards of central Washington, the Blackberry Bliss which tastes like summer in a bottle, and the 2008 Petite Sirah with its brooding façade yet light and amicable heart. The Petite Sirah will surprise you with its versatility with food, especially anything with a little smoke or char on it from a mid-summer BBQ! As usual, we’ll be pairing the wines with some delectable appetizers and excellent company. This event is complimentary to wine club members and $20 to sponsored non-wine club folks.
