When I was blending this petit fleur, the white wine pixies were flitting mischievously through the winery. Intensely aromatic riesling and sauvignon blanc dominate the bouquet and suggest a sweet wine to follow, but the pallet is jolted awake by the all-up-in-your business balance of fruit and acids that leave you feeling as invigorated as a glacially- fed river plunge.
This wine pairs beautifully with spicy foods such as Thai cuisine, not to mention a crisp fruit plate filled with sharp cheeses.
